Job Description:

This ER nursing role in Red Bluff offers a lively environment with at least 15 emergency beds, including a fast track section open from 9am to 10pm. You'll be providing care in a fast-paced setting that handles a wide spectrum of patient cases, from strokes and abdominal pain to orthopedic injuries and psychiatric conditions. Preference is given to candidates with Level III trauma experience or above, and a strong clinical background is essential. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts over a 13-week contract, with a schedule made out well in advance. The unit is equipped with Cerner (First Net) EMR, Phillips monitors, and Vents, with continuous physician coverage and pharmacist support around the clock. Your role may include intra-unit tasks like monitoring patients via central monitors and collaborating with charge nurses, nurse aides, and techs to deliver quality care. Fast-paced but rewarding, this assignment offers an opportunity to sharpen your trauma skills amid a diverse patient mix.
