Job Description:
Join a fast-paced Emergency Department as an ER Registered Nurse, where you’ll be a key player in managing high-acuity cases in a large, busy facility. This 14-week contract offers a guarantee of either 36 or 48 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. You'll handle a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics, working in an environment that experiences an impressive daily patient volume of 165-175 individuals. The role involves utilizing Epic and Pyxis systems, maintaining a navy blue scrub dress code, and collaborating within a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Expect to work in a high-energy setting focused on stroke and STEMI care, with occasional floating within scope of practice. If you’re experienced in managing busy ERs, eager to work in a high-demand setting, and meet required certifications, this assignment can be both professionally challenging and rewarding.
