Job Description:

Join a specialized Medical Surgical Neurology team as a Registered Nurse on this 13-week contract in Charleston, SC. This role involves providing care within the 9 West inpatient unit, which supports neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's, and multiple sclerosis, in addition to managing epilepsy monitoring in a dedicated hard-wired room. You'll work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, completing approximately 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts. Expect to float within similar units or sister facilities as needed, supporting a patient ratio of 1:5. This assignment offers the chance to gain diverse neuro-focused experience, coordinate care for adult and geriatric patients, and ensure optimal patient monitoring and support during your nights on duty. The setting provides a unique glimpse into a specialized neurological care environment in a patient-centered, private room setting.
