Job Description:

This emergency nursing contract places you in the bustling ED of a 21-bed acute care hospital in Sanford, NC. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing care to patients of all ages during a fast-paced rotation. The assignment offers a chance to sharpen trauma and resuscitation skills, manage complex cases like stroke and cardiac emergencies, and collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals. Expect to handle approximately five patients per nurse, utilizing Cerner EHR and emergency equipment. This role is ideal for experienced RN professionals comfortable with telemetry, blood products, IV therapy, and emergency procedures. No call duties are required, and the schedule includes every other weekend and some holidays, with 36 guaranteed hours weekly. The environment emphasizes teamwork, quick thinking, and adaptability.
