Job Description:

Step into pediatric registered nurse responsibilities in a short-term acute care setting within the Post Partum unit. This travel contract is built around 12-hour night shifts (3x12), so you’ll be fully immersed in overnight care coordination while working with a pediatric caseload that commonly includes asthma/bronchiolitis and other upper respiratory infections, post-surgical cases (such as appendectomy and tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy), failure to thrive, jaundice, and non-accidental trauma evaluations. You may also cover pediatric needs that arise within related spaces including Post Partum and the Special Care Nursery, so flexibility to float is expected.

The role uses EPIC for charting. Support requirements include BLS and PALS. Experience requirement is 1 year minimum, and first-timers are not accepted. Weekend coverage is required (EOW). Block scheduling is not available, and the position is not on-call.
