Job Description:

Step into a fast-paced Emergency Department role as a Travel RN focused on the ED workflow at Wesley Woodlawn Hospital & ER in Wichita, Kansas. This is a 12-hour night shift assignment designed for an RN who can hit the ground running—managing the pace, collaborating with providers and the ED team, and keeping care moving through each shift. You’ll work in a 1:3–4 staffing model within a 14-bed ED, using Meditech/CPN EMR to support charting and documentation.

What makes this assignment unique: you’ll be part of a well-staffed emergency team with dedicated night coverage, and your shift will run 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The work includes high-acuity procedures such as intubations, central line insertion, and chest tubes/thoracic lavage—along with strong attention to safety and readiness. Bring your ED experience and preferred certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH; ENPC and IO training are also welcome), and expect nights that truly keep you sharp.

Expect generally mild days with cool evenings, with chances of rain and occasional windy conditions. It’s a good time to enjoy the outdoors with a light layer for after dark.
