Job Description:

Step into a travel Respiratory Therapy contract in Dickinson, North Dakota, supporting ER and inpatient services with a wide range of patients from 0 to 100. This role centers on independent respiratory work, where you’ll handle core respiratory therapy duties including ABGs and EKGs, using Meditech as the EMR.

The shift schedule is 12-hour rotations (7am–7pm and 7pm–7am), rotating days and nights, with no in-shift Respiratory Manager or lead therapist—so you should be comfortable working on your own, including potentially being the only RT in-house at times. Weekend coverage follows an every-3rd-weekend rhythm, and holiday coverage is required.

Required credentials: ND Respiratory Therapy license required at time of submission, plus BLS. CRT or RRT is required (RRT preferred). Preferred certifications include PALS and NRPN. Fit testing requirements apply—if you have facial hair, you’ll need to pass the required fit test (3M Aura 1860 sm or regular/3M 1870+), and Portacount is required if you cannot pass. If facial hair cannot be removed, the contract would be canceled.
