Job Description:

Step into a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) contract built for night-shift professionals who thrive on fast-paced, protocol-driven respiratory support. You’ll support acute care services across ER, adult med/surg, and adult critical care, using RT-driven protocols to deliver targeted therapies and advanced airway support.

On 12-hour nights, you’ll perform and manage respiratory treatments including nebs, CPT, high-flow oxygen, NIV, cough assist, IPV, and pulmonary toileting. Your day-to-day also includes assisting with intubations and bronchoscopy, managing mechanical ventilation, and providing in-house transport for mechanically vented patients. Neonates are preferred, with experience supporting infants through geriatrics required (pediatrics/PE ER only if demonstrated competency).

The schedule is every other weekend required, with no call. Epic charting experience is required, and you’ll also need at least 1 year of relevant respiratory care experience. You can expect consistent, hands-on respiratory care responsibilities—bringing your vent management and airway experience to a busy 300-bed community hospital.

Weather:

Expect cool, crisp conditions with a mix of cloudy days and occasional clear spells. Nights can feel especially chilly, with precipitation possible at times.
