Job Description:
Join a high-acuity electrophysiology (EP) team in Cheyenne, where your expertise supports advanced EP procedures and a sterile workflow built for precision. This travel contract is based on 10-hour day shifts on a Monday–Thursday schedule, with occasional call nights and weekend coverage handled through a rotating call team. You’ll circulate and monitor during cases, with a strong preference for clinicians who have scrubbed in the EP lab and are comfortable working within a sterile field.
Common work includes ablations (Fib, flutter, VT) and device-related procedures involving ICD pacemakers, Bi-V ICDs, and Watchman workups, along with EP studies. The assignment runs on Epic and uses EP mapping systems such as MacLab/Cardiolab and Biosense Webster mapping—so Epic experience is required, and EPIC proficiency is essential for documentation and workflow.
Call coverage is expected: 3 call nights per month (5p–7a) and 1 weekend (Friday–Sunday) through a 4-person rotation. Off days typically involve clinic time, and unit onboarding includes a full week of orientation after onboarding. All required paperwork is due by Wednesday at noon MST the week before the start, and your permanent address must be at least 25 miles from the facility location.
Weather:
Expect crisp, seasonal conditions with cool mornings and daytime temperatures that can swing throughout the week. Weather is often breezy, and you may see a mix of clear skies and occasional cloud cover.
Fun Things To Do:
• Laramie Plains Museum (day trip)
• Curt Gowdy State Park hiking and viewpoints (day trip)
• Wyoming State Museum
• Historic Downtown Cheyenne walking tours
• Cheyenne Frontier Days venue and local events
Job Specifics:
Location: Cheyenne, WY (82001)
Shift: 10 hour days (M–TH, 0700–1730), plus call rotation
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly commitment: 40.0 hours
