Job Description:

Work as a Physical Therapist (PT) on a 13-week travel contract in Shreveport, Louisiana, supporting a busy therapy department across inpatient rehab, acute/PCC, and outpatient services. You’ll help evaluate and treat a wide range of orthopedic and neuro-focused conditions—including spinal presentations, sports medicine, pediatrics (developmental), and neuro-specific diagnoses—while also contributing to medically complex casework across settings such as IPR and acute care.

This assignment is structured around 8-hour day shifts (40 hours/week) and includes a predictable orientation pathway: you’ll complete general hospital orientation plus departmental and site-specific onboarding over 2–3 days, with a full case load by the end of the first week. The role centers on managing your caseload independently, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and using the department’s EMR workflows (EPIC), with inpatient rehab/acute care charting in Meditech Expanse, outpatient documentation in Wellsky, and skilled nursing support as the department transitions systems. No call coverage and no holiday requirements are expected.

On-site, expect professional routines, free parking, and department attire guidance—pewter scrubs for inpatient settings or professional dress for outpatient only.
