Job Description:

Join a travel healthcare contract with a focus on adult med-surg work in Asheville, North Carolina. This assignment supports a busy 4 West Adult Med Surg unit at Mission Hospital–Memorial Campus, where you’ll put your telemetry rhythm capabilities to work while managing medication administration and treatments such as IV fluids, tube feeds, PEG feedings, IV antibiotics, and ongoing monitoring. You’ll follow Cerner documentation practices and stay alert to changes in patient acuity by escalating appropriately to the Charge RN, Manager, Rapid Response team, or provider as needed.

Shifts are 12-hour days, with huddles at 6:50 AM, and meal breaks handled with clock-out/clock-in procedures. The unit runs with a team-minded staffing model and a clear expectation that you’ll help where needed—supporting CNAs and collaborating across nursing colleagues to keep the flow steady.
