Job Description:

Join a fast-start travel contract as a Registered Nurse working in Acute Care Services in Elko, Nevada. This role supports a mixed clinical mix across Medicine, Surgery, and Telemetry, with opportunities to assist with pediatric, adult, and geriatric cases. Expect 12-hour night shifts with 36 hours per week and variable weekend requirements, plus the possibility of floating to other departments based on unit needs.

Your day-to-day will focus on monitoring and managing patients within acute care workflows using the unit’s standard tools, including Omnicell medication dispensing, Baxter pumps, Masimo monitors, and the GE Telemetry Monitoring system (EHR: MEDHOST). You’ll also be supported by on-site fit testing and a streamlined onboarding timeline—candidates must be able to start 7–10 days from offer acceptance.

ACLS and PALS are required, with up to 60 days to obtain ACLS and 90 days to obtain PALS after the start date. If you enjoy combining steady night-shift momentum with varied clinical focus—Medicine, Surgery, and Telemetry—this assignment offers a distinctive setting in a true Western community.
