Job Description:

Step into a Med/Tele role in Bismarck, North Dakota, where your day is built around telemetry monitoring for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac-focused diagnoses and procedures. In this position, you’ll work 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) while supporting a unit that often receives PCU overflow and a mix of conditions including cardiac caths, EP studies, pacers, and common acute on chronic presentations such as pneumonia, influenza, sepsis, and COVID-related respiratory needs.

You’ll review and interpret your own telemetry strips, with titratable drips such as amiodarone, diltiazem, heparin, nitroglycerin, nitroprusside, and Lasix (including low-dose dopamine). Experience requirements center on PCU-level capability and strong comfort in a tele/cardiac workflow—EP studies, pacers, and rhythm-focused monitoring are part of the rhythm here.

A BLS and ACLS certification are required, and PCU experience is essential. Epic is preferred. A profile review and manager interview are part of the process—be ready to talk through your PCU experience and how you approach rhythm interpretation. This assignment is a great fit for a traveler who enjoys owning the monitor workflow and keeping care moving with steady, consistent shift structure (and a lot of rhythm-focused focus, in the best way).
