Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment in Alexandria, LA, offers registered nurses the chance to work 12-hour day shifts (7AM - 7PM) in a medical-surgical unit with a strong focus on cardiac care. You'll be managing patients with conditions like MI, CHF, Arrhythmias, PVD, and some overflow cases, primarily handling drips and cardiac rips, without nitrate administration. The role requires independent practice, adherence to clinical standards, and the ability to coordinate with interdisciplinary teams. Expect to float as needed, cover every other weekend, and work a total of 36 hours per week. The position presents a great opportunity for nurses with at least one year of related experience to enhance their skills in a supportive environment while exploring the vibrant culture of Alexandria.
