Job Description:

Step into an exciting travel contract supporting an Ortho/Neuro/Trauma care center as an MS RN on 12-hour days. Your work centers on patients experiencing orthopedic injuries (including broken hip/femur), neuro cases such as scheduled neck and back needs, and trauma diagnoses including spine and rib fractures. You’ll perform strong neuro assessments, help manage log rolling, and support safe mobility with devices such as back braces and immobilizers.

Expect Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation as part of the daily workflow; travelers are required to pass a tele test. Charting is done in Epic, and a checkoff class may be required. Float flexibility is built into the schedule: you’ll first float within your skillset, with cross-campus floating possible between the Midtown (primary) campus and nearby facilities. A mid-shift float within the same campus may also occur.

This is a hands-on, assessment-driven role in a teaching hospital setting, where staff and leadership actively treat travelers as part of the team. You may also be asked to precept students and new hires.

Expect mild to warm days with occasional humidity. Evenings can feel cooler, and you may run into brief rain showers throughout the week.
