Job Description:

Work as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse on a travel contract in Albuquerque, New Mexico, supporting night shift coverage with a structured routine you’ll get to settle into quickly. This assignment is built around hands-on L&D workflow including external and internal monitoring, AROM, medically assisted deliveries, and key procedures such as cerclage, version, C/S, PPTL, and more specialized cases. You’ll also complete required skills for the unit, including circulating duties and fetal health monitoring (FHM), with postpartum experience that includes 3s/4s as well as coverage for baby nurse responsibilities and meconium deliveries.

Expect an active pace and meaningful variety during your 12-hour night shifts, with opportunities to float within scope to antepartum and postpartum as facility needs change. If you’re a first-timer to traveling, you’re welcome to apply—just bring at least 1 year of relevant experience and the required certifications (BLS, ACLS, and NRP). On-call coverage is required (4x12s or 3x12s patterns are available depending on scheduling).

Expect generally mild days with cool evenings, plenty of sunshine, and low humidity. Conditions can shift quickly, so evenings typically call for a light layer.
