Job Description:

Work as a Surgical Technologist in Omaha, Nebraska, supporting a high-volume surgical services program with complex cases across neuro, ENT, and more. This assignment runs on a block-style day shift schedule of 3x12-hour (07:00–19:00), with a blend of weekday coverage and occasional rotation to meet staffing needs. You’ll assist across a broad set of specialties, including anterior cervical fusion and other cervical/lumbar procedures, craniotomy, and VP shunt insertion, along with ENT services such as endoscopic sinus procedures, septoplasty/rhinoplasty, mastoidectomy/tympanoplasty/stapedectomy, and tracheostomy. Laparoscopic assisted cases may also be included.

Orientation occurs bi-weekly, and the facility is 100% nicotine-free. Expect an OR rhythm built around real case flow—approximately 60–80 cases per day across 30 rooms—plus call responsibilities: weeknight call 1–2 nights/week on average and weekend call every 4–5 weekends on average. Off-shifting is possible (1–3 shifts in a week) once every 4-week scheduling period, though it’s often not needed. This is a great fit for an experienced Surgical Technologist who enjoys procedure variety and precision.
