Job Description:

Join our travel X-Ray Tech team in Springfield, Illinois at a Level I acute care hospital environment where radiology and imaging excellence are front and center. This role supports busy adult acute care and procedural imaging workflows, with experience required across a broad range of X-ray exams—including abdomen (decubitus, supine KUB, and upright), chest and thorax views (including AP and lateral decubitus), upper airway/soft tissue neck, head/face series, and extensive upper/lower extremity and spine/pelvis imaging. You’ll also handle mobile and surgical X-ray needs, including portable chest and portable abdomen, C-Arm procedures, and O-ARM experience.

The shift structure is 8-hour evenings (5x8), scheduled for 14:00–22:30, with weekend requirements every 3rd weekend plus holidays and on-call as needed. The assignment is ideal for a tech who’s comfortable with ER/ICU/operating room imaging demands and who can execute advanced exam types accurately and efficiently. Cerner charting experience is preferred, and first-timers are accepted—provided you meet the minimum 1+ year experience requirement.
