Job Description:

Join the Shock Trauma OR team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse, supporting a busy peri-operative setting with both rotating 8- and 12-hour days. This contract is built for a hands-on OR RN who can seamlessly transition between circulating and scrub responsibilities—so you’ll be comfortable moving from case prep through intraoperative support.

You’ll work a rotating days schedule featuring 2x8 and 2x12 shifts (example coverage times include 07:00-15:30 and 07:00-19:30), plus weekends/on-call requirements. The role also includes floating within the specialty and peri-operatively (including pre-op/PACU as needed), and participating in pre-scheduled 36-hour on-call coverage according to the 6-week cycle.

Minimum RN experience of 2 years is required; first-time travelers may be considered with strong OR experience. CNOR is preferred. If you’re looking for a contract where your OR skills are fully utilized and your schedule keeps you on your toes, this is the assignment for you.

Weather:

Expect a mix of mild to warm days with comfortable evenings. Humidity can increase at times, so layering for changing conditions will help.
