Job Description:

Step into a Respiratory Therapy travel role built around high-acuity critical care. This assignment is designed for an RRT who can confidently manage adult ICU workflows, including ventilator work on Servo vents (U and I models), reading ABGs and recognizing critical values, and performing airway management that may include intubation support—while an in-house team responds to codes. You’ll handle all standard respiratory therapy duties (nebs, BiPAP/CPAP, CPT, vapotherm, bedside PFTs, and ABG collection) and, in the ICU, assist with advanced tasks such as A-line placement support, bronchs, and ongoing vent management suggestions based on patient response.

Expect a workload that stays busy: approximately 550 minutes of therapy time per 12-hour shift with an average of 13–15 patients per shift (with ICU assignments that can include up to multiple airways per therapist). The team rotates weekend coverage and participates in an every-other-holiday schedule with permanent staff.
