Job Description:

Step into a 13-week travel healthcare contract in Farmington, New Mexico, supporting a Med/Surg medical unit on 12-hour nights (7P–7A). This assignment is for a hands-on healthcare professional who’s comfortable working within a busy inpatient service, handling common Med/Surg diagnoses and treatments such as cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, CHF, and more. You’ll work in a medical unit setting that serves the Four Corners region and includes access to advanced imaging and lab services, helping you stay focused on the day-to-day flow of the unit.

Expect a schedule built around nights and a weekly commitment of 36 hours, with weekends included according to unit policy (typically at least two weekend shifts per month). Block scheduling may be considered case by case, and you may float based on facility needs.

To help you hit the ground running, BLS certification is required (AHA). Experience is expected (1 year minimum, 2 years preferred). On-site tools include Cerner EHR and commonly used unit equipment such as IV pumps, bladder scanner, and tube feeding pumps—so bringing practical Med/Surg familiarity matters here. And because this location offers a true adventure vibe, you can “get out and explore” on your off time.
