Job Description:

Join a surgical inpatient team in Farmington, New Mexico as a travel RN/Charge Nurse for 12-hour nights over a 13-week assignment. You’ll work on the 3rd floor Surgical Inpatient Unit in a Level III trauma center setting, where the pace includes post-operative workflow across a mix of ortho/neuro surgeries and common medical needs that may come with admissions and discharges throughout your shift. This role also supports turnover work tied to patient movement, with Cerner used for documentation.

Expect to encounter a variety of adult cases (18–100+), including respiratory concerns, NG tubes, chest tubes, Foley catheter/turps, sepsis, diabetic care needs, altered mental status, pain management, alcohol withdrawal, and rib fractures. You may also float to sister inpatient areas such as Medical/Nephrology/Inpatient Rehab, and occasionally to Cardiology for lower-acuity patients or Pediatrics for adult patients only.

Required: BLS. Must be available to start within 10 business days of offer acceptance to qualify for rapid rate eligibility. No call required.
