Job Description:

Join a fast-paced inpatient rehab therapy team as a travel healthcare professional in Richmond, Virginia. This contract centers on hands-on work supporting neuro re-ed through manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, functional activities, and neuromuscular re-education. You’ll also participate in self-care and functional e-stim sessions as part of the unit’s comprehensive therapy approach.

This is a hospital-based assignment requiring 2 years of hospital experience, with inpatient rehab experience preferred. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with 10-hour days between 7:00am and 5:00pm, plus a rotating weekend schedule. Depending on rehab census, the therapist may float to the acute hospital. Documentation is completed in Meditech Expanse, and communication expectations include AIDET and immediate service recovery practices.

The unit includes 10 OT/PT teams, 3 speech therapists, and 1 tech, supporting a shared environment with rehab-focused equipment such as Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego.
