Job Description:

Join a hospital-based inpatient rehab therapy team in Richmond, Virginia, where your days are built around hands-on neuro rehabilitation. This travel contract supports the Rehab Therapy unit, working with a structured schedule and a team that includes OT/PT and speech therapy coverage. You’ll use modern rehab equipment such as Sara Lifts and Ceiling Lifts, plus technology like Bioness and Diego. Documentation is completed in Meditech Expanse.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday with 10-hour days between 7:00am and 5:00pm, and weekends rotate. There is also a floating policy—when rehab census is low, you may be asked to float to the acute hospital setting. If you’re comfortable delivering manual therapy for neuro re-ed, therapeutic exercise, functional activity, neuromuscular re-ed, self-care, and functional e.stim., you’ll find meaningful momentum in this assignment.

This role is well-suited for clinicians with 2+ years of hospital experience, especially those with inpatient rehab experience and interest in stroke-related rehabilitation.

Expect warm, humid days with a mix of sunshine and occasional rain. Evenings are often pleasant, and there’s a good chance you’ll be able to enjoy time outdoors most days.
