Job Description:

Step into an outpatient perioperative setting in Monterey, California, where your day centers on pre-procedure preparation for patients scheduled for elective surgery. This travel contract supports a fast-paced workflow in the Perioperative Clinic under the anesthesiologist, partnering closely with a registered nurse and nurse’s aide.

In this role, you’ll complete comprehensive history and physical assessment with an anesthesia focus, including functional status and screening for cardiac and respiratory considerations. You’ll also perform comprehensive medication reconciliation and help coordinate the flow across the clinic’s pre-procedure testing process. The patient mix commonly includes adult total joint replacements, complex spine cases, urology, gynecology, and general surgery.

This is a NICOTINE FREE facility. The 26-week contract includes a double cancellation policy, and the weekly guaranteed hours may be canceled equivalence up to the assignment requirements.
