Job Description:

Step into a high-energy Emergency Department role with an emphasis on rapid assessment, smart prioritization, and hands-on care across a wide range of ages and acuities. This travel Registered Nurse position supports a busy Level 2 trauma center and a complete stroke center, where you’ll evaluate and manage everything from minor to critical presentations.

In this assignment, you’ll work a shift schedule that may include days, evenings, and nights based on staffing needs. You’ll take on triage responsibilities using ESI assessments, care for heavy trauma volumes, and also support stroke-ready workflows for symptoms up to 24 hours. The department also manages specialized cases, including Sexual Assault evidence collection in rotation with permanent staff (no pelvic exams). You’ll document and care using Epic, with support from ED leadership coverage and a fully staffed team including ED Tech coverage and 24/7 physician and advanced practice provider availability.
