Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment opportunities for a Labor and Delivery nurse to work at a hospital in Wausau, WI. You will be providing care in an 11-bed L&D unit and an 8-bed postpartum unit, handling approximately 112 deliveries per month. The role involves 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including every third weekend and alternate holiday rotation. The position emphasizes hands-on labor and delivery expertise, with responsibilities tailored to support women during childbirth, manage postpartum recovery, and assist with family support. Expect to be out of the facility during periods of low census, with the opportunity to be on call — all while maintaining a standard 36 hours per week in a friendly, team-oriented setting. Your certification in BLS and NRP, along with at least 2 years of OB experience, will be key to success here. Just beware of the requirement to wear masks during flu season if vaccines are declined, aligning with the hospital's policies.
