Job Description:

Join a travel Respiratory Therapist role focused on Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics coverage in a fast-paced Acute Care Hospital setting in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a 12-hour nights assignment (19:00–07:00) with required every-other-weekend rotation, and ongoing use of advanced respiratory equipment such as Servo U-V, V60, and HFNC. You’ll work across higher-acuity areas including PICU, NICU, CCU, SDU, PEDS, PCU, and FBS—supporting pediatric and critical-level needs through specialized respiratory diagnostics and therapies.

Expect Cerner charting and guaranteed hours up to 36 hours per week (with additional coverage adjustments for 12-hour OR staff). The assignment is designed for experienced RTs: a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required, first-timers are not accepted, and the facility requires ACLS and BCLS. While on-call is not required, there is a possibility to fill in day shifts if necessary.
