Job Description:

Join a travel wound care nursing assignment in Anchorage, Alaska, supporting adults through specialized wound care practices in a focused, two-room setup. This is a day shift role with 8-hour days (08:00 - 16:30), designed for travelers who enjoy hands-on specialty work and want their day-to-day to stay rooted in wound assessment, treatment, and advanced wound care workflows.

You’ll work with medication dispensing via Pyxis and document in Cerner. The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with at least 2 years of wound care experience and is comfortable performing mechanical debridement and wound VAC therapy. Certifications include ACLS, with WCC preferred and WOCN a plus. Trauma level II experience is preferred.

Weather:

Expect cool, crisp conditions with a mix of clear and overcast days. Breeze and occasional precipitation are common, so layering is key for comfort in changing temps.
