Job Description:

Step into a travel nursing contract built for an operating room professional who thrives on variety and precision. In this role, you’ll apply the nursing process for veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the OR, ensuring documentation accurately reflects assessments, interdisciplinary treatment plans, clinical interventions, and evaluations of patient responses. You’ll also support day-to-day OR coordination by assigning and evaluating the work of non-nursing direct care providers assigned to the operating room.

The assignment emphasizes hands-on OR readiness: you must be able to scrub (general) and circulate for all types of cases. You’ll rotate through surgical specialties including General Surgery (laparoscopic and robotic), orthopedics/spine/podiatry, urology, ENT, and vascular—making each shift distinctly different while keeping your focus on real OR workflow and documentation.

Expect comfortable, seasonal temperatures with a mix of mild days and cooler evenings, along with occasional rain showers. Humidity can vary, so layers are helpful for time outdoors.
