Job Description:

Travel to Charleston, South Carolina for an Operating Room Registered Nurse role in a Level I, academic trauma center where the Main Operating Room supports a wide range of surgical specialties, including trauma, transplant, ortho, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics. This assignment is for an OR RN who will work a consistent 3x12 schedule with day shifts (10:30a–11p) and join a nurse-driven department where RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures.

Expect collaboration across a team composed of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists, with opportunities to apply your OR experience in a high-acuity teaching setting. The schedule includes on-call requirements (up to 2 call shifts per month) and flexibility for up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks, plus participation in at least one holiday period. Charting is completed in Epic, and a radiation badge will be provided by the agency.

You’ll also have the flexibility to float within scope as needed to meet facility requirements, including floating between like units or sister facilities.

Expect warm, coastal-weather days with humid conditions and the chance of passing showers. Evenings are typically mild, making it comfortable to spend time outdoors when the weather clears.
