Job Description:

Join a fast-paced operating room team in the vibrant city of Slidell, LA, for a 13-week travel assignment as an Operating Room Registered Nurse. In this role, you'll handle 10 to 25 cases daily across seven rooms, providing crucial support during daytime hours from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Your responsibilities will include preparing OR materials, assisting surgeons, and ensuring smooth workflow throughout your shift. This assignment offers the unique opportunity to work in a busy surgical environment while staying flexible to emergency team assignments – so you'll be ready to step into a key role whenever needed. Active BLS certification and at least two years of OR experience are required, with CVOR experience preferred but not mandatory. Scrubs are provided, and travel nurses of all experience levels are encouraged to apply, provided they meet the necessary requirements.
