Job Description:

Step into a hands-on Interventional Radiology environment as an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse for a travel contract in Charleston, West Virginia. This assignment supports a focused schedule with 4x10-hour weekday shifts (0730–1800), plus on-call responsibility every 5th weekend. Your days will run through interventional procedures including angiograms, fistulograms, permacath care, EVAR, TCAR, TAVR, MitraClip, mechanical thrombectomy, and embolization. If you’re a first-time traveler who already has strong Interventional Radiology experience, you’ll find a clear orientation pathway: the first two days occur in a class setting, followed by unit orientation to learn local workflows and expectations.

This role is built for experienced IR RNs (2+ years required) who want to use their specialty knowledge to help drive smooth procedure-day performance—whether you’re setting up for the next case or managing on-call needs during your weekend rotation. (A friendly note: you may hear people call Charleston “the Lowcountry’s secret spot,” but this job keeps the focus on what you’ll actually be doing.)
