Job Description:

Step into a hospital-based travel nursing contract in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where your nights matter and your skills keep care moving smoothly. In this role, you’ll take responsibility for an assigned group of patients, provide competent bedside nursing care, and document responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments—capturing changes in physician orders and patient status as they happen. You’ll also assist physicians during patient examinations and support minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.

As part of your day-to-day, you’ll obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient responses, and intervene when necessary. You’ll administer medications as prescribed, manage intravenous infusions and blood products, and coordinate care with support staff by delegating tasks appropriately. You’ll also communicate with patients and families by sharing the care plan while in the hospital and around discharge, ensuring they understand hospital procedures and know where to turn next when referrals are needed.

Expect mostly warm days with cool, comfortable nights. Conditions are often dry, with occasional breezy weather and typical seasonal temperature swings.
