Job Description:

Join a travel nursing assignment in a busy med/surg setting in Oklahoma City, where your day is centered on post-operative inpatient support. This role is ideal for an experienced acute care surgical floor nurse who can confidently care for patients with evolving needs, including new drains, wounds, trachs, ostomies, and NGT/DHT. Some cases may require stepdown-level monitoring, so stepdown/PCU experience is required.

You’ll work a structured 12-hour day schedule, document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments, administer medications and monitor IV infusions and blood products as ordered, and support the full hospital stay experience—from collaborating on care plans to assisting with discharge-related coordination. You will also assist with physician examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, and delegate tasks to support staff when needed.
