Job Description:

Join a travel contract as a Wound Care and Ostomy Nurse (RN) in Baltimore, where your expertise will focus on the assessment, treatment, and management of complex surgical and traumatic wounds. This role is built around hands-on wound and ostomy work, including advanced dressing changes and wound vacs, along with accurate wound measurement and classification for a wide range of skin and related conditions. You’ll also provide inpatient, acute-care patient teaching as part of the day-to-day workflow.

To be successful, you’ll bring current, experienced wound care/ostomy nursing experience (at least 2 years), BLS, and WOCN certification. Ostomy experience is required, and WOCN-level knowledge should include all relevant wound types, ostomy care, and specialized dressing care. Epic experience is preferred, along with 1–2 prior travel assignments. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, with no weekends, call, or holidays.

Shift: 8-hour days (7:00am–3:30pm). You’ll be stepping into a role that’s equal parts clinical precision and patient education—helping patients understand their wound and ostomy care plan while working with a team that values accuracy and consistency.

Expect mild to warm days with occasional humidity, along with the possibility of brief rain showers. Evenings can feel cooler, so layering is helpful.
