Job Description:

Step into a travel Cardiac Stepdown/Progressive Care role in Rock Island, Illinois, supporting the pace and complexity of nights in a fast-moving cardiovascular unit. This assignment is a great fit if you bring at least 2 years of current Cardiac Stepdown/Progressive Care experience and are ready to rely on your judgment, routine assessment, and expertise during a 12-hour night shift.

First-time travelers are accepted. Charge nurses work to build the safest possible assignments while considering each nurse’s level of cardiac experience. Epic experience is required, and your skills checklist must be specific to Stepdown/Progressive Care.

You’ll be part of a team that values readiness and consistency—show up prepared, stay focused, and help ensure continuity of care throughout the night.

Expect a mix of comfortable days and cool evenings, with occasional light rain. Humidity can vary, so layering is a practical way to stay comfortable outdoors.
