Job Description:

Take on a rewarding travel healthcare contract as an RN in the OR at a fast-paced 1st-floor surgical unit in Sylva, North Carolina. This assignment is a backfill covering 12-hour day shifts Wednesday through Friday, providing 36 hours per week of consistent schedule support. You’ll step into a team-focused OR environment where your experience matters—especially with a wide range of surgical cases, including C-sections, ortho, general, urology, GYN, ENT (peds & adult), and procedures related to pain and dental (peds). Expect 1:1 assignment coverage in the operating room and familiarity with Paragon documentation, along with OR equipment including a Hana table, trauma table, enSeal, MyoSure, NovaSure, Kabtec, and Neoprobe. Call is required, but it’s covered through a designated call team and is used only to cover PTO days.

Weather:

Expect mild to warm days with occasional afternoon showers, plus cooler evenings as the area’s mountain weather shifts quickly. Overall, conditions are typically comfortable for outdoor time and weekend plans.
