Job Description:

Join a solid organ transplant and medical-surgical/telemetry team in Omaha, Nebraska as a Travel Registered Nurse supporting adult pre- and post-transplant care and recovery workflows. This assignment is based on a day shift schedule with 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30) and offers a flexible contract structure with a 36 or 48-hour option and either a 13 or 26-week duration.

Travelers are first to float to meet facility staffing needs, which may include assignments across multiple unit areas within the organization, so preparedness to flex within scope is essential. Expect EPIC charting, drip/infusion workflows on all floors, and consistent documentation practices. The unit supports a 1:5 days / 1:6 nights staffing model (night ratios can occasionally reach 1:7). BLS and ACLS are required, NIH is preferred, and CPI is preferred.

This is a place where your focus is on dependable, hands-on nursing execution in a high-acuity transplant setting—supported by care teams that may include care techs, transport support, and swoop/paramedics. A fully NICOTINE-FREE facility, EPIC experience, and at least 2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital setting are required. First timers are not accepted.
