Job Description:

Join the medical team at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, for a 13-week travel nursing assignment on the Medical/Surgical unit. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts (7A - 7P) on a busy inpatient floor with approximately 36 beds. You'll be assisting a team of dedicated nurses and staff to deliver quality patient care to a variety of surgical and medical patients, including those with wounds, NG tubes, and chest tubes. Expect to manage patients with general surgeries like hernia repairs and colon resections, utilizing typical acute care equipment and Meditech EMR. This assignment is perfect for nurses with a minimum of 1 year of recent acute care Med/Surg experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a collaborative team atmosphere.
