Job Description:

Join our team as a Perfusionist in Florence, South Carolina, for a 13-week contract that immerses you in supporting complex cardiac procedures. You'll be responsible for setting up and operating heart/lung machines during surgeries such as CABG and vascular cases, ensuring seamless circulatory and respiratory support. The schedule features 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with an on-call requirement from Monday at 3 a.m. through the following Monday at 7 a.m. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced perfusion equipment, including heart/lung machines, Autotransfusion, CardiHelp, Impella, and IABP, in a hospital that prides itself on innovative cardiovascular procedures. Experience managing procedures with potential for major blood loss is essential, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and current ABCP certification. Travel level is suited for those ready to step into a fast-paced, procedure-heavy environment, with no floating between service lines or sister facilities required.
