This travel RN role in the Admissions and Transfer Center at Aspirus Wausau offers a unique opportunity to coordinate complex patient transfers across 16 hospitals within the Aspirus system. You'll facilitate admissions from various healthcare facilities and ensure smooth patient flow, involving critical communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The position emphasizes efficient transfer procedures, documentation, and real-time problem solving, especially for critically ill patients. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts, with varying start times, in a fast-paced environment where your critical care and ER experience will be vital for success.
