Job Description:

Join a critical care team at a hospital in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, as a registered nurse working in the ICU. This 13-week contract offers a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, with every other weekend worked. You'll be managing patients with conditions like stroke and cardiac issues, including STEMI and non-STEMI, providing care in a fast-paced environment. You'll handle drips like Cardizem, Insulin, and Vasopressors, monitor ventilated patients via Hamilton C-1 vents, and collaborate with on-call RTs. The role involves working with EMR systems such as Allscripts TouchWorks and Clinis, while following hospital protocols for patient ratios and certifications. Your responsibilities include maintaining patient safety, administering medications, and responding to emergencies under the guidance of hospitalist or intensivist physicians.
