Job Description:

Work a 12-hour night travel contract as an emergency/critical care clinician supporting high-acuity cases in a fast-paced, urban setting. You’ll care for patients across cardiac, trauma, and neuro categories, following an EPIC-based workflow from arrival through documentation. This assignment is well-suited for a traveler who enjoys night shift momentum and the variety that comes with responding to different critical presentations.

A strong fit includes at least 2 years of previous experience, first-time travelers welcome, and current ACLS and BLS with additional certifications required as stated. PALS and CPI are required, and TNCC is preferred. CPI and other required credentials must be in place when extending—if not needed to start, they may be required for continuation.

Prepare to bring your assessment and readiness for rapid patient evaluation using the required protocols and profiles, including Cardiac, Trauma, and Neuro.

Weather:

Expect typical Upper Midwest weather—cool to mild conditions with occasional breezes. Nights can feel crisp during this time of year, and you may see a mix of dry stretches and passing clouds.

State License: Iowa (Compact Allowed)

Requirements: Valid driver’s license; BLS and ACLS required; PALS, CPI required; TNCC preferred; EPIC required.
