Job Description:

Join the ICU team at Wesley Woodlawn Hospital & ER for a 13-week travel nursing contract, working 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated, experienced staff in a unit recognized for low infection rates and unit of distinction awards. You will perform advanced procedures such as arterial line insertions and cardioversion, utilizing monitors, CRRT, IV therapy, and temperature management devices. The unit emphasizes patient experience and teamwork, with a staffing ratio typically around 1:2 or 1:3. Candidates with at least one year of recent ICU experience, and certifications like BLS, ACLS, and NIH, are preferred. Prior Meditech familiarity, ventilator, IV, and GTT skills will give you an edge. This assignment is ideal for nurses who thrive on technical skills, precise procedures, and collaborating in a supportive environment.
