Job Description:

Join this travel nursing contract as an ICU with stepdown float RN in Putnam, Connecticut, supporting care across a 6-bed ICU while also floating to straight tele beds as needed. You’ll work 12-hour day shifts (7-7) with an every-other-weekend schedule, contributing to hemodynamic monitoring that includes recognizing normal and abnormal cardiac monitoring patterns and implementing the appropriate treatment process. This assignment emphasizes hands-on efficiency with procedures, equipment, troubleshooting, maintenance, and thorough documentation for hemodynamic monitoring.

A strong fit includes an RN license in Connecticut (multistate/compact licenses are accepted), plus AHA Healthcare Provider CPR, ACLS, and NVCIT (or completion within 3 months of hire). CT temporary licensing is typically available quickly (about 10–15 days), and travelers without a CT license in-hand may be considered.
