Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in a 64-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting that combines intermediate care, telemetry, and MedSurg responsibilities. Your role involves managing diverse patient conditions such as post-surgical recovery, CVA, seizures, infections, respiratory issues, and fluid management. The unit operates with a pod structure, requiring collaboration with fellow nurses and CNAs to deliver high-quality care. Expect to perform medication administration, line management, wound care, and telemetry monitoring, often involving titratable drips and blood transfusions. The assignment offers a well-balanced mix of hands-on clinical work and unit teamwork, in a vibrant environment that appreciates experienced professionals capable of reading cardiac strips and managing complex patient needs.
