Job Description:

Take your PCU experience on the road and bring steady care coordination to Merit Health Natchez as a Travel PCU RN in Natchez, Mississippi. This 13-week contract offers night shift hours from 6:45pm–7:15am, with a consistent 36.0 hours per week—ideal for travelers who prefer a focused evening-to-morning schedule.

You’ll work in a stepdown/PCU setting supporting the unit’s routine flow and staying aligned with facility standards, including maintaining required certifications (BLS and ACLS at minimum; PALS must be obtained within the first 3 weeks of arrival). If you’re comfortable operating independently during nights and keeping documentation and unit processes running smoothly, this assignment is built for you.

Scrub color is royal blue, and the auto-offer is contingent on the start date. Submissions lacking all required certifications will be rejected.

Weather:

Expect warm, humid days and mild-to-cool evenings, with occasional rainfall. Nighttime temperatures are generally comfortable for outdoor plans when you’re off shift.
