Job Description:

Join a specialized pediatric stepdown unit as a Registered Nurse committed to providing care to children with complex, technological needs. This role involves working in a unique inpatient setting with 39 beds, caring for patients ranging from infants to teenagers. You'll manage a mix of vents, trachs, and G-tubes, often supporting children with chronic illnesses and ventilator dependence. The assignment offers a mix of 12-hour night shifts, either 3 or 4 shifts per week, with a focus on delivering targeted care in a fast-paced environment. Expect to work within a 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratio and gain experience with Meditech charting. This position is perfect for nurses with at least 2 years of pediatric experience, especially those familiar with ventilators and tracheostomies, seeking a rewarding challenge in a state-of-the-art facility.
