Job Description:

This travel respiratory therapy position offers a rare chance to experience a variety of patient populations in a single shift, from neonatal NICU cases to geriatrics, all within a hospital setting. You will be the sole RT on shift, handling treatments such as breathing therapies, ABGs, EKGs, and assisting with intubations and ventilator management—including both neonatal vents and adult Vents—while working independently. Your expertise will directly influence patient stabilization and transfer decisions across ER, med-surg, outpatient clinics, and emergency cases, often involving traumas or cycling accidents. This assignment invites self-starters who are confident managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision, utilizing structured guidelines and support from hospital leadership. It’s a hands-on role crafted for RTs who thrive in diverse environments and enjoy the challenge of independent decision-making.
